FLOATING ELEGANCE ABOUNDS AT SAN DIEGO YACHT and BOAT SHOW

What better place to have a mid-summer boat show than Harbor Island, the seaside hub of San Diego recreational boating. Now in its seventh year, the San Diego Yacht and Boat Show, July 22-25, is not only the largest consumer boat show in the San Diego area, but it offers a rare blend of elegance and serenity thanks to the luxurious Sheraton Hotel/Marina and adjacent Cancer Survivors Park venue.

Boat show attendees will have the opportunity to feel, touch and become immersed in the environment with hundreds of new and brokerage motor yachts, sailboats and family runabouts, in-the-water and on-land. Marine accessory products will also be in abundance in a special on-land expo area immediately adjacent to the boats. Unquestionably, the San Diego Yacht and Boat Show has deservedly established itself as a premier event among southwest boaters.

The 2010 San Diego Yacht and Boat Show provides a festive seaside atmosphere where visitors can enjoy excellent cuisine and quench a thirst at an on-the-docks food and beverage pavilion. And to further enhance the boat show experience, free family entertainment will be provided by live music and demo ride opportunities to qualified visitors. The boat show is also offering a full schedule of interesting and informative boating related seminars presented by an outstanding line-up of marine industry experts Even if you're not a boater right now, you might be one by the time you leave the San Diego Yacht and Boat Show.

Boat show hours are: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11am to 7pm, and Sunday 11am to 6pm. Admission is $12 for adults, children 12& under are free.
